Erasmus+

Being international is part of how Vilnius College of Design teaches. Erasmus+ gives students, lecturers and administrative staff a way to gain international experience, develop professionally, meet other cultures and build academic and professional ties that last.

For people heading into design, art and the creative industries, new ideas and new settings matter. Erasmus+ puts you in front of different creative methods, different studios and different cultural contexts, and that feeds back into the work.

Vilnius College of Design takes an active part in Erasmus+: it runs student and staff mobility, carries out international projects, and works with higher education institutions and organisations in Europe and beyond.

Erasmus+ mobility (KA131)

Vilnius College of Design runs these Erasmus+ KA131 activities:

  • student mobility for studies (SMS);
  • student mobility for traineeships (SMP);
  • short-term student mobility and blended intensive programmes (BIP);
  • staff mobility for teaching (STA);
  • staff mobility for training (STT).

Erasmus+ quality assurance

Vilnius College of Design holds the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE). It grants the right to run Erasmus+ mobility and cooperation activities, and it obliges the college to organise mobility transparently, to recognise the results of study abroad, to give equal opportunities and to serve participants well.
