Library
The Vilnius College of Design (VDK) library is an open, welcoming, and modern space for finding information and preparing for exams and projects, suited for both individual and group work.
The library's collections are oriented toward VDK's study programmes in the arts, design, and new technologies. The collection comprises around 8,000 publications covering fashion, graphic design, interior design, photography, architecture, art history and theory, and other subjects.
The priority in building the collection is the quality and reliability of information resources rather than quantity — faculty therefore select only the most valuable books and journals for study from the global publishing market, in Lithuanian, English, and other languages.
Printing
You can print from the computers in the library. You can copy documents and scan them for free in the library. In order to copy and print, you need to register in the MyQ system on this website print.dizainokolegija.lt (more information will be provided by a library employee). After doing this, you can top up your credit with a library employee.
A4 format black and white copy – 0.05eur, color – 0.35eur.
A3 format – 0.10 eur and 0.70 eur, respectively.
Payment can only be made in cash.
Library users can access the virtual library system, where they can search the library catalogue, look for publications in other Lithuanian higher education institution libraries, and access the EBSCO Publishing database subscribed to by VCD.
