Admission Requirements for Applicants from Georgia
Vilnius College of Design welcomes applications from Georgia. Please read the requirements below carefully before applying. Applications that do not meet all of the minimum requirements will not be considered.
- Our Study Programmes
Vilnius College of Design offers 8 technology programmes and 5 design programmes only. See all study programmes
We do not offer business programmes.
If you are looking to study business, management, marketing or a similar field, our college is not the right fit for you. - Technology Programmes
To apply for any of our technology programmes, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Completed 12-year general education (Sruli zogadi ganatlebis atestati).
- Passed the Unified National Examinations (Ertiani Erovnuli Gamocdebi) administered by the National Assessment and Examinations Center (NAEC), with each examination passed at least at the minimum score set in Georgia for that examination year.
- Mathematics in the Unified National Examinations: at least 60% of the maximum score for the examination year.
Only the Unified National Examination result in Mathematics is considered. School (atestati) grades in Mathematics or Informatics do not count towards this requirement.
Applicants who took History instead of Mathematics in the Unified National Examinations are not eligible for technology programmes, regardless of their other results.
In line with the recommendations of the Lithuanian Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC), the school-leaving certificate alone does not give access to higher education in your country – this right is obtained only by passing the national entrance examination. Therefore, applicants without valid national examination results are not eligible, regardless of their school grades.
IT aptitude test and motivational interview.
All applicants to our technology programmes also take the Vilnius College of Design IT aptitude test and a motivational interview. The test is taken online and consists of multiple-choice questions. It does not assess knowledge of IT or programming, and no prior IT studies are required: it assesses logical thinking, problem-solving, pattern recognition and attention to detail. Questions include number and pattern sequences, simple logic and word problems, basic calculations (for example, fractions and percentages), directions, coordinates and clock angles, and visual and spatial reasoning (for example, shapes and cube nets). The questions are based on general logic and school-level mathematics, so no special preparation is required. - Design Programmes
Admission to design programmes requires a portfolio.
Each application is evaluated individually, based on the portfolio and the criteria described under “Admission requirements” under each of your chosen programs,
