VCD Open Lecture: Richard Malone
On December 9, Richard Malone joins the VCD Open Lectures series - a creator who stands out in today’s fashion, art, and interdisciplinary practice not for his aesthetic, but for his uncompromising principles. More than a designer, he is also a sculptor and installation artist, working with form, material, and space in ways that push his creations beyond the boundaries of clothing.
A meeting with Richard Malone offers an opportunity to explore the creative process of an artist whose work is driven not by the rules of the industry, but by the intellectual and emotional weight of his practice.
This is the third event in the Vilnius College of Design’s Open Lectures series, featuring a lecture followed by a live discussion with the guest speaker. Running throughout the year, the series brings some of the most renowned and intriguing voices in the creative world to Vilnius - artists, designers, graphic designers, leading figures in interdisciplinary practice, and all those shaping the culture of the future.
