Create innovative, functional and user-engaging digital products
Digital product design is a field that combines creativity, technology, and user experience creation. It encompasses everything from aesthetic appearance to functionality — how various digital solutions look, work, and feel to the user: mobile applications, websites, platforms, interactive tools, and even smart devices.

A UX designer with more than a decade of experience in user experience, interactive design, website development, and mobile app creation. She specializes in UX design — from user research, journey mapping, and information architecture to prototyping, interface logic, and experience testing.
Kaja’s professional experience includes working with IT companies, startups, and digital products where the focus is not only on an aesthetically pleasing screen, but also on clear, convenient, human-centered solutions. More than five years of teaching and programme leadership experience allow her to present digital design as a living, practical, and constantly evolving discipline.
In the DIGILAT / Digital Design pathway, students learn to understand users, ask the right questions, create prototypes, test ideas, and turn them into functional digital products. The programme led by Kaja combines design thinking, technological understanding, and empathy for the user — skills that every strong digital product team needs today.
About the Programme

Students learn to create user-friendly digital products — from research and concept development to the final prototype.
Admission to the Digital Design study programme is carried out through the LAMA BPO centralised admission system or through direct admission at Vilnius Design College. Applicants must have completed secondary education and meet the minimum requirements set out in the admission rules.
Applicants to the Digital Design programme are required to take an entrance examination. During centralised admission, the entrance examination for the field of design consists of a drawing task and a colour composition task. During direct admission, the entrance examination for Digital Design consists of a portfolio review, a motivational interview, and a creative design concept task. This task assesses the applicant’s ability to think conceptually, create digital experiences, visually communicate ideas, and present them.
Full-time studies – EUR 2,329 per semester.
Graduates of the Digital Design study programme can work as UI/UX designers, digital product designers, interaction designers, interactive media creators, motion designers, data visualisation specialists, AR/VR/XR experience designers, and creators of generative and AI-assisted design projects.
The acquired competencies enable graduates to work in creative agencies, technology companies, start-ups, digital product, advertising, communication, and interactive media sectors, as well as to pursue independent creative practice.
