The Cybersecurity specialisation is oriented towards preparing information security specialists capable of protecting organisational information systems and networks from cyber threats. During studies, students gain practical skills working with security tools, performing vulnerability analysis, and conducting penetration tests.
Great emphasis is placed on network security, cryptography, incident management, and security strategy development. The specialisation prepares specialists who can work both in organisational IT security departments and in consulting companies.

His areas of expertise include cyber threat management, strengthening organisational security, implementing complex security solutions, employee education, and practical preparation for potential incidents. Ramūnas is able to explain complex technological topics in a clear and practical way, and his experience in the VCD programme helps ensure professional content, clear direction, and real value for participants.
About the Programme
Programming fundamentals, data structures and algorithms, databases, computer networks, operating systems, project management, professional ethics, interdisciplinary collaboration, and final thesis.
Cybersecurity modules cover information security fundamentals, cryptography, network security, penetration testing, security auditing, incident management, cloud security, secure programming, and cyber law. Students learn to identify vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and develop security strategies.
Cybersecurity is a specialization within the Smart Technology Industry study programme. Admission is carried out through LAMA BPO or directly at Vilnius Design College.
Full-time studies – EUR 1,539 per semester.
Graduates of the Cybersecurity specialization can work as cybersecurity specialists, SOC analysts, incident management specialists, and security architects. They can also develop and maintain secure software and information systems.
